Summer Food Service Program – Statewide 2026

Summer is here!

Nutritious meals, food assistance, and additional food resources are available for students in grades K-12 and their families throughout the summer. The following free summer meal resources may be available in your area:  

  • Sun Bucks: An income-based food support program that helps families buy groceries when school is out for the summer.
  • Free Meals For Kids App: A mobile app that lists locations offering free meals and meal packs for children during the summer months.
  • Food Helplines: Hotlines that connect families with local food shelves, meal sites, and other community food resources.
